Are you a passionate and outgoing individual with a love for the outdoors? Join our team as a Brand Ambassador for Tennessee Urban Outdoors, Inc. (TUO). As a TUO Brand Ambassador, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to represent our organization, engage with the community, and promote outdoor activities. Your role will involve building relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and residents to increase participation and awareness of TUO’s mission. With excellent communication skills and a friendly personality, you’ll share the value of our programs and services, capture memorable moments through media content, and contribute to the positive image of our brand. Brand Ambassador

Reports To:

Program Manager

Role Overview:

Represent Tennessee Urban Outdoors, Inc. (TUO) either in-person, via video call, or by telephone to manage relationships and TUO activities in an effort to increase participation and community presence. A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced, and professional in both verbal and nonverbal communication. You will communicate the value of our program and services to residents, track resident feedback, and represent the TUO at various business, community, and government-related activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Familiarize yourself with TUO’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Set up, manage, and break down TUO vending table(s) at scheduled events.
  • Educate residents, sources, and media about the TUO’s program or services.
  • Collect contact information from new contacts at activities and send contact information to TUO.
  • Create website and social media content in order to drive brand awareness and attract new participants.
  • Build relationships with local business, government, and community leaders and organizations
  • Take pictures and videos during scheduled activities and send pictures to TUO.
  • Monitor resident feedback and escalating complaints to the organization.
  • Input new contacts in TUO CRM system.
  • Attend training that is designed to help with professional and personal branding.
  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.


  • Experience in sales and marketing is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to travel.
